About this position
The Interventional Pulmonologist is responsible for providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for pulmonary diseases within a two-hospital system. This role includes performing interventional pulmonary procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings, managing a dedicated interventional pulmonology clinic, and serving as a referral resource for complex pulmonary cases. The physician will be expected to collaborate with hospital leadership to develop clinical protocols, support service line growth, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. This is a pure interventional pulmonology position with no expectation to cover ICU or to build a general pulmonology practice at the same time.
Requirements
Education
• Graduate of an accredited medical school or osteopathic school required • Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota
Experience
Experience • Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Ability to work independently while developing a new, high-impact service line • Excellent clinical skills and competence in area of specialty • Strong track record of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Licensure/Certification
• Current State of MN Medical Doctor or Osteopathy license • Valid DEA Registration • Current medical staff credentials in specialty

Salary Range: $216/hr - $240/hr, This range reflects hourly rate compensation. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on FTE, experience, internal equity, and external market data.
