About this position
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an integral role supporting a team of recruiters throughout the hiring process while ensuring a positive recruitment and onboarding experience. They will contribute to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of customer service, administrative support, and coordination including scheduling interviews, creating offer letters, administrative support to recruiters through the offer process, initiating and tracking pre-employment screening and maintain department files and documents.
Requirements
Education
• Associate's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
• 3+ years previous administrative assistant experience supporting a fast-paced, complex process or work unit. Previous human resources administrative experience preferred. • 1+ year of recruitment experience strongly preferred. • Previous healthcare experience preferred. • Demonstrated customer service orientation and skills including skill in hospitality. • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. • Demonstrated skills in teamwork to effectively work with others to achieve business objectives. • Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and judgment skills to anticipate potential problems, identify problems when they occur and potential solutions. Make recommendations regarding solutions/ seek permission to act on recommendation. • Proficiency in computer technology utilized throughout recruitment process to leverage it to optimize efficiencies and results. Technology includes e-recruitment solution software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and intranet and internet capabilities. • Demonstrated awareness of fundamental human resources functions such as team member/labor relations, benefits, training and development, occupational health, compensation, payroll and workforce planning. • Demonstrated awareness of legal requirements impacting recruitment including the requirements, principles and components of state and federal affirmative action and EEO legislation. • Attention to detail, skill in performing with a high degree of accuracy. • Skill in multitasking and demonstrated flexibility and adaptiveness. • Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and time management.
