Our Trauma and Acute Care Surgeons are attending leaders of an multidisciplinary team that facilitates care across the for patients from admission through discharge from acute care.

About our hospitals
North Memorial Hospital - Celebrating its 26th year as a ACS-COT verified Level 1 Trauma Center, North Memorial Hospital is one of just six Level 1 Trauma Centers in the state with 20 operating room suites and a 353-bed tertiary hospital (518 licensed beds).
Maple Grove Hospital - Established in 2009, Maple Grove Hospital is a State designated Level IV Trauma Center -138-bed community based acute care hospital, poised for growth, and recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care. ,

Position Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical or Osteopathic School
- Completion of accredited American Board of Surgery approved training program
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in surgical critical care
- Minnesota Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy license
- Board certified or eligible in General Surgery
- American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility in surgical critical care.
- Valid DEA Registration
