Our Urgent Care Physicians provide treatment to all ages and families who come to the Urgent Care Center. Because North Memorial is independent, and small but mighty, we think differently. We started as a single hospital in 1954 by a doctor who had a vision for the future to do healthcare better, and we’ve picked that up and run with it. What Background Urgent Care Physicians Bring:
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Medical or Osteopathic School
- Completion of an accredited ABMS-approved residency
- PGY 3 or beyond in an accredited ABMS – approved residency.
Licensure/Certification(s) Mandatory
- Board certified or Board eligible in area of specialty
- Current State of Minnesota Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy license (or ability to obtain a Minnesota Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopath license.
- Valid DEA Registration

- Maple Grove Hospital, established in 2009, is recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU, and is the largest Family Birth Center in the state (~5,000 deliveries per year and over 50,000 babies delivered). The hospital was recognized in 2023 by U.S. News & World Report for high performing procedures and conditions in spinal fusion, COPD, hip replacement, knee replacement and pneumonia. In 2023 the hospital was named a "Best Place to Have a Baby in Minnesota" through Star Tribune's Minnesota's Best!
