Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove as well as a network of 23 clinics which includes 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers and emergency care offerings covering five counties. Our Robbinsdale Hospital, established in 1954, is a 385-bed facility recognized as the top Level 1 Trauma center for 25 years, as well as serving as a Level II pediatric trauma center. Our Maple Grove Hospital was established in 2009, is a 134-bed facility recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU, and is the largest Family Birth Center in the state (~5,000 deliveries per year and over 60,000 babies delivered). The Senior Systems Administrator is a key player offering deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and identity and access management (IAM) to support our healthcare organization’s mission of delivering secure, compliant, and patient-centric digital services. This role focuses on designing and implementing Microsoft Entra ID solutions that meet the unique regulatory, privacy, and operational needs of the healthcare sector.

Accountabilities: · Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, hybrid identity configurations and Identity Governance tailored for healthcare environments. · Manage user lifecycle processes and role-based access control (RBAC) in alignment with healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) · Manage Microsoft Licensing. · Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture of identity services. · Collaborate with cybersecurity, compliance, and clinical IT teams to align IAM strategies with patient safety and data protection goals. · Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity-related issues across cloud and on-premises environments. · Support integration of Entra ID with EHR / EPIC system, third-party SaaS platforms, and internal applications. · Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and incident response. · Participate in audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning. · Lead the implementation of lifecycle management for healthcare staff, including onboarding, role-based access, and offboarding. · Provide technical leadership in incident response and identity-related audits. · Stay current with Microsoft Entra innovations and healthcare IAM best practices. · Provide mentoring for less experienced IAM Systems Administrators
Requirements
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required • Bachelor degree preferred
Experience
Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, CISSP, CIAM) preferred. • 5+ years of experience in systems administration and IAM, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment. • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, identity lifecycle management, and cloud-based IAM technologies. • Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Salary Range: N25 ($44.91 - $67.37), based on experience
