About this position
Manages the operations for a regional Outstate North Ambulance Service by planning, organizing, directing, evaluating all activities including managing the operation of the care of neonates, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients for the Outstate North Memorial Ambulance Service. Acts as a resource to staff in developing, implementing and evaluating ambulance issues. Facilitates compliance with Human Resources processes and programs. Manages unit resources within financial parameters. Develops and implements operational and strategic plans.
This position is in charge of NMHA Wisconsin regions, base, and operations. Work will be from the Wisconsin base, occasional travel to Brooklyn Center Ambulance Headquarters.
Requirements
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required • Baccalaureate Degree preferred in health related field. • Successful completion of paramedic training program from an accredited institution required.
Experience
• Minimum of three years experience as an emergency paramedic. • Minimum of two years experience as a supervisor/manager preferably in the ambulance field. • Knowledge of local/state/federal laws as they relate to emergency care. • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
Licensure/Certification
• Current EMT-P Certification in State of Minnesota- State Requirement • Valid Class D driver's license in state of residency with acceptable driving record - NMHC Standard

Salary Range: M04 ($39.83 - $59.74), based on experience
Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
