Customer Service Rep LabApply
Coordinates and provides prompt, accurate and courteous processing of information to clients, customers
and their families.
Responds to customer service concerns, complaints and requests by working with the laboratory staff
to resolve issues and ensure customer recovery is successful.
Has knowledge of and adheres to compliance (coding and insurance) policies and procedures
applicable to specific job function.
Participates in client training and orientation to laboratory systems.
Works collaboratively with sales/marketing to help inform lab staff of new customers and any
new/additional service responsibilities.
Performs computer data entry, result lookup, generates laboratory customer test reports, faxes and
Generates and completes applicable computer reports, queries and worksheets.
Answers and resolves telephone inquiries in a professional manner.
Performs specimen collection and EKGs according to department policies and procedures as
Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate

The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed
necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
Recognizes and complies with legal regulatory, accrediting and procedural requirements related to
area of responsibility.
Understands and follows principles and standards as outlined in North Memorial’s Corporate Code of
Protects customer and team member privacy and only accesses customer and/or team member
related information as needed to perform job duties.
Reports violations or areas of concern to supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established
methods of communication.
High Schood Graduate or GED equivalent required.
Associates degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience or 2 years of Phlebotomy experience required.
Minimum of 1 year of customer service in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Valid drivers' license required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple departments.
