Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove as well as a network of 23 clinics which includes 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers and emergency care offerings covering five counties. Our Robbinsdale Hospital, established in 1954, is a 385-bed facility recognized as the top Level 1 Trauma center for 25 years, as well as serving as a Level II pediatric trauma center. Our Maple Grove Hospital was established in 2009, is a 134-bed facility recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU, and is the largest Family Birth Center in the state (~5,000 deliveries per year and over 60,000 babies delivered). Both have been named to the 2022 Fortune/Merative 100 Top Hospitals® list, 2023 Women’s Choice Award Best Hospitals list.

Overview Join North Memorial Health IT and gain valuable experience through exposure to enterprise-scale collaboration tools, IT governance and service desk operations while providing front line support for the Microsoft 365 Cloud Platform including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. • Duration: 6 months, ~30 hours per week (typically, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:30) • Format: Hybrid: remote and onsite.
What You’ll Do: As an M365 Intern, some typical activities you may participate in could include: • Cloud Migration Support : Assist with on-prem to cloud migration planning and user readiness/training activities. • Incident Support : Provide user assistance through basic troubleshooting and by answering how-to questions. • M365 Message Center & Roadmap Triage: Learn about platform security and upkeep by reviewing M365 Message Center posts and Roadmap updates. • Knowledge Management: Support Help Center by creating new or updating existing Knowledge Base articles. • MTR (Microsoft Teams Rooms) Support: Learn about MTR collaboration systems including room planning, hardware installation, system commissioning, and end user support.
What You’ll Learn: Under mentorship from IT Collaboration Analysts, you’ll: • Expand your M365 knowledge and experience. • Build professional and technical confidence and transferable skills. • Gain real-world experience in live collaboration environments and through participation in enterprise IT projects. • Build technical problem-solving skills through structured tasks. • Strengthen technical writing and documentation ability.
What We’re Looking For: • Currently, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferably within a year of or recently graduated. • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. • Self-motivated and eager to learn. • Strong interest in IT systems and technology solutions. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively. • Ability to work effectively both in-person and remotely using collaboration tools. • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world M365 projects. • Basic understanding of M365 platform including Sharepoint, One Drive, and Teams. • Applicants must have reliable means to commute between various on-site locations.
