Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove as well as a network of 25 clinics which includes 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers and emergency care offerings covering five counties. Our Robbinsdale Hospital, established in 1954, is a 385-bed facility recognized as the top Level 1 Trauma center for 25 years, as well as serving as a Level II pediatric trauma center. Our Maple Grove Hospital was established in 2009, is a 134-bed facility recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU, and is the largest Family Birth Center in the state (~5,000 deliveries per year and over 60,000 babies delivered). The Client Engineer is a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining the end user technology supporting North Memorial Health. From workstations and mobile devices to security software and system tools, this role ensures seamless connectivity, robust security, and top-tier performance. You'll be at the forefront of eliminating security threats, optimizing system efficiency, and developing technical standards—all while keeping compliance and organizational objectives in focus. Requirements
Education
• Bachelor degree preferred • Associate's degree, two-year technical certificate or 2+ years equivalent direct Technology Support experience, required
Experience
Experience • Minimum 5 years' experience as a PC Support Technician or 3 years' experience as a Network Client Engineer, Network Engineer, or Systems Administrator • Networking systems administration and support preferred • Experience in large, complex organizations, preferably with multi-campus and multi-client environments • Server and end user technology equipment and operating systems (Microsoft, Apple, Linux) preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Expertise in desktop technologies, including Visio, Outlook, Teams and Microsoft O365 tools • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, security best practices, and enterprise-level client devices • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with efficiency • Experience working within a structured IT environment with established workflows and service desk processes • Demonstrated knowledge of all associated technologies used at NMH
Licensure/Certification
• Valid Class D Driver’s license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record. NMHC Standard
