About this position
Provides administrative decision-making and support for the coordination of customer care services 24/7. Coordinates customer flow, communication and emergency management. In conjunction with the department manager and staffing office, assists with staffing to leverage maximum labor productivity. The Administrative Manager coordinates administrative, clinical and staffing operations to ensure resources are adequately allocated across the facility. Participates and provides leadership which promotes quality and strategic initiatives to facilitate remarkable customer care. Ensures customers are placed in the clinically appropriate level of care. Actively and consistently demonstrates the mission, vision and guiding principles of the organization. Represents hospital leadership in their absence. The Administrative Manager serves as a role model and leader in demonstrating the mission, vision, values, and guiding principles of Maple Grove Hospital.
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; Masters preferred. Experience may be substituted for part of preferred educational qualifications as appropriate.
Experience
• 5+ years nursing experience and 2+ years in clinical leadership. A successful track record of progressively increasing responsibilities. • Case Management Experience preferred. • Effective leader with strategic orientation; superior judgment and disciplined decision-making approach, analytical, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form), clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience. • Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner. Has an awareness of, responds to, and considers the needs, feelings and capabilities of others. • Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations. • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards. • Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
Licensure/Certification
• Current, valid license to practice as an RN in the State of Minnesota. • Current BLS certification required.
